About

I work professionally with art since 2004 when I started my company FinaDesign where I have painting in oil and watercolor as the main focus.

Inspiration

What inspires me during my work is entirely the desire to create and to wake a curiosity. My paintings has their base in the nature but with a rebellious way to look at it, in combination with surrealism and playfulness. They are cute, whimsical and a bit eerie. Some of my paintings are like fairytales and others can be like a punch in the face... but in a good way!
My paintings all have strong egos in there own way. They are independent with a strength in their individuality. And I hope that the viewer can feel both humility and a sense of humor while observing my art.

Self made, autodidact.

I have exhibit my art in a lot of galleries and artfairs in Sweden over the years. But also in Barcelona and New York several times.
My art is represented at both private collectors and companies in Sweden but also in USA, Europe, Asia.
Upcoming event:
- June 2023 Konstkuppen in Gothenburg.
- June 2023 I will exhibit at the 30th anniversary of Sweden Rock Festival where my art will be hanging in the artist-restaurant and in the vip-area.
- October 2023 it´s time to be a part of Affordale Art Fair in Stockholm!

I prefer to work with oil on canvas or watercolor. But it happens that I work with acrylic.

I start with an idea in my head. I sketch it on a paper, and after that I do the lines with a small pencil on canvas or very specific drawing if I plan to paint with watercolor. After that I start paint the layers. Before I feel that a painting is finished it’s about 6-7 layers of paint. To get the right shadows, colors and depth.
Love that process!
