Artist Arena opens art exhibition at NK Stockholm
Artist Arena opens an art exhibition at NK Stockholm
Artist Arena is a platform by and for artists, working to make artists and their art more accessible to a wider audience. From November 4th to 13th, Artist Arena will showcase 3 of its artists, Emma Malm, OBSKYR, and Henrik Wergeland in a well-curated and dynamic exhibition at NK Stage, floor 1 at NK Stockholm.
Following a highly attended group exhibition at the Affordable Art Fair Stockholm, where Artist Arena’s artists sold a total of 27 original works in just 5 days, a well prepared trio is now gearing up for an exhibition in the iconic NK Stockholm department store.
Visitors of the exhibition will be able to experience vibrant, playful, and scenic works in acrylic, spray paint, and photography.
- Emma Malm is a Stockholm-based contemporary artist. She is known for her colorful and intimate portraits of women.
- Henrik Wergeland is a nature photographer who has captured natural motifs from all over the world. Destinations have included South Africa, northern Norway, Borneo, and India, to name a few. Henrik’s photographic art is captivating and dramatic.
- OBSKYR, who goes by the name Sara Källberg in her everyday life, is a contemporary artist with a chaotic and color-intense expression. OBSKYR is heavily influenced by street art, and her work is vibrant, playful, and often integrates text and symbols into its themes.

“We are very excited to invite NK’s visitors to view captivating art in a setting where one might not usually expect to see art. At the same time, there seems to be a natural connection between Artist Arena and NK, as NK hosts Nordic and international fashion creators of the highest caliber. With clothes and accessories that often border on artistic creations.” says Fredrik Sologub, artist and Creative Director at Artist Arena.
The Artist Arena exhibition at NK Stage opens to the public on Saturday, November 4th, and will continue until Monday, November 13th. The opening hours are the same as the department store’s.
