My name is Alan, I am a Danish artist, car enthusiast and former race driver, living in Sweden. Alongside my automotive series, I created Addicted to Icons, a conceptual art collection made entirely out of pills. This series is a homage and modern reinterpretation of cultural icons and iconic works, such as Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe. It reflects the addictions of contemporary life, whether to fame, beauty, validation, or the ever-present smartphone, inviting the viewer to question the nature of obsession and desire in today’s world.
