A haunting vision of destruction, Aftermath serves as a critique of modern warfare and the fragile state of our world. This piece reflects on the reckless power plays that shape history and leave devastation in their wake. A massive explosion bursts between the skeletal remains of a tree and the sky, merging with ominous lightning streaks. Fighter jets cut through the storm, symbols of ongoing conflict, their presence almost ghostly against the apocalyptic backdrop. The blood sky burns with chaos, while the twisted corpses and debris below remind us of the cost of war- lives lost, bodies discarded, and landscapes forever scarred. The scene offers only an unsettling stillness that forces us to reflect on where we are headed, and what the consequence to our actions are, pondering the question on what remains when the dust settles, and who stands to benefits from it?

Welcome! I’m Brother Deadie, a digital artist and graphic designer with a unique passion for blending the realms of Surrealism, Dada, and Pop Art. My artistic journey began as a way to explore the boundaries of creativity and communication, evolving into a vibrant expression of imagination through digital collages and illustrations. Currently, I balance my time between working as a waiter and freelancing as a graphic designer, allowing me to draw inspiration from diverse experiences and perspectives. My work often reflects sarcastically the playful irony of the absurdity of life, inviting viewers to see the world from a fresh, unconventional angle. I strive to use visual storytelling to comment on societal issues, provoke thoughtful discussions, and raise awareness about the importance of equality and of our planet for a sustainable future. I believe that art should challenge mundane thoughts, daily life, the status quo, and spark conversation- aiming to create pieces of work that resonate on multiple levels. Each collage and drawing is a journey into the unexpected, a fusion of public domain images and my own creations that blend elements of cyberpunk and the occult, coming together to tell a story that is distinctly their own.
