A striking critique of industrial destruction and environmental decay, Rotting World presents a surreal and unsettling vision of our planet’s downfall. At the center sits a figure of contradiction- both powerful and decayed. A woman with a goat skull for a face meditates in eerie serenity, her exposed form blending with the toxic landscape. Her lap overflows with rotting organic matter, symbolizing both the fruits of human progress and the waste left in its wake. Blood seeps from the decay, staining the ground beneath her, as if the very earth itself is hemorrhaging from the wounds of civilization. Behind her, blackened factories churn out endless plumes of smoke, their fires burning even against the sunlit sky. The sun, once a giver of life, now glows ominously, its pentagram faintly carved into its surface- an emblem of power, corruption, or an ancient force watching as the world crumbles. The landscape is dry, cracked, lifeless. Industry has overtaken nature, leaving only dust, ash, and remnants of a world once thriving. Is she a deity of destruction, a prophet of ruin, or a silent witness to humanity’s self- inflicted demise? Rotting World challenges us to look at the cost of progress and the irreversible damage we inflict upon our planet. As the factories burn and the land withers, one question still lingers: Is this a prophecy, or have we already reached the point of no return?

Welcome! I’m Brother Deadie, a digital artist and graphic designer with a unique passion for blending the realms of Surrealism, Dada, and Pop Art. My artistic journey began as a way to explore the boundaries of creativity and communication, evolving into a vibrant expression of imagination through digital collages and illustrations. Currently, I balance my time between working as a waiter and freelancing as a graphic designer, allowing me to draw inspiration from diverse experiences and perspectives. My work often reflects sarcastically the playful irony of the absurdity of life, inviting viewers to see the world from a fresh, unconventional angle. I strive to use visual storytelling to comment on societal issues, provoke thoughtful discussions, and raise awareness about the importance of equality and of our planet for a sustainable future. I believe that art should challenge mundane thoughts, daily life, the status quo, and spark conversation- aiming to create pieces of work that resonate on multiple levels. Each collage and drawing is a journey into the unexpected, a fusion of public domain images and my own creations that blend elements of cyberpunk and the occult, coming together to tell a story that is distinctly their own.
