In this work I was trying to capture the feeling of tenderness. Being kinder to myself, allowing to soften myself as in my eyes it’s a form of beauty. The Peacock has been an animal which had caught my attention from a very early age and for some reason I knew that it’s beauty represents the beauty of my vulnerability towards myself.

Sweden

My name is Jessica Nieberle and I am a 26 year old artist from Germany, currently based in Nässjö (Jönköpings län). Art has always been the centrum of my life just expressed in different forms. For a couple of years has it been painting, followed by drawing and photography. In January will it be 3 years since I moved to Sweden and as for this year have I decided to expose my work and share it with others. I guess just like most artist, can it be challenging to tell something about myself, as I tend to use brush and colour for that. In general, do I find it wonderful to look through the eyes of an artist when looking at the work. Sharing this glimpse of ones perspective to life and for where we are standing within ourselves at the moment of creating.
