This striking 30 x 30 cm wall-mounted relief sculpture is hand cast in concrete and resin. A faceless, upward-looking figure emerges from the darkened frame, eyes closed evoking silence, strength, and suppressed voices. The raw texture and heavy presence of the materials mirror the weight of oppression, while the upward gaze symbolises hope and quiet defiance. Crafted by multidisciplinary artist Sadaf Ahmadi, this piece is part of her powerful series addressing human rights, identity, and resilience in the face of repression.
