"The Memory of the Tide" draws the viewer into a moment of quiet reverie — a breath held between ebb and flow, when the sea has retreated, leaving behind only its softest footprints. Shallow pools, polished stones, and damp sand mirroring the sky become gentle echoes of the ocean’s recent presence — fragments of a memory etched into the shore. With lyrical restraint, the artist captures nature in a tender pause — a threshold between motion and stillness, where everything seems hushed, yet alive with the afterglow of movement. The sunlit, ruddy sandy-clay cliffs lend warmth and quiet drama, their tones contrasting with the cool reflections of morning light scattered across the shore. This is more than a seascape — it is a meditation on impermanence. The traces of the tide stand as delicate metaphors for the fleeting, the intangible, the fragile line between what is and what has just passed.

Since childhood, I dreamed of learning to paint, especially with oils, but it felt out of reach. The nearest art school was too far, and my parents couldn’t take me there. Instead, I spent hours at a local gallery, absorbing the beauty of paintings, trying to understand how artists expressed emotion through color. Summers at my grandparents’ countryside home deepened my longing — I watched the dawn sky, sunlit wildflowers, and golden autumn forests, wishing I could capture it all on canvas, but I lacked the skill. Years later, as a mother, I decided to pursue that dream — to learn painting and share it with my children. That decision opened a new chapter in my life. Art became a source of joy, inspiration, and strength. My childhood dream had finally come true. Today, I’m a contemporary artist inspired by the richness of nature. I work with oil, acrylic, and oil pastels, exploring the connection between humans and the natural world. My paintings blend observation with emotion, inviting quiet reflection. I don’t limit myself to specific themes or techniques — I’m always searching for new ways to express depth, harmony, and feeling. My work is a dialogue between material, memory, and the viewer.
