Born 1972 in Västerås, Sweden I paint in a concrete and abstract pictorial tradition, where the spirit is permeated by artists such as Hilma af Klint, Kandinsky, the Suprematists and the Russian avant-garde. By organizing and coordinating colors, shapes and pattern constructions (often geometric and symbolic), I want through these elements and approaches to achieve decorative results but at the same time also create resistance that dissolves this. My work process consists of finding compositions among opposite conditions such as contrast, volume, space, distance, proportion and atmosphere to give each painting its specific character
