After such a long and cold winter, I found myself deeply missing the warmth of summer — the light, the freedom, the endless blue. That longing became the inspiration for this original painting. I didn’t just want to remember summer; I wanted to feel it again. So I painted it. The rich blue shades and vibrant turquoise tones carry me back to a quiet moment by the sea — standing at the shore, looking toward the horizon where sky and water become one. In that moment, nothing else exists. Nothing else matters. There is only the present — the rhythmic sound of waves crashing against the shore, the salty breeze on sun-warmed skin, and the gentle movement of boats gliding across a sea full of life. The textured shoreline in the foreground reflects the energy of the water — alive, organic, constantly shifting — while the boats bring a sense of story, direction, and quiet adventure. One circles playfully, stirring the surface like a spontaneous dance; another moves forward with purpose, cutting through the deep blue.
