In this 30 x 30 cm wall-mounted relief sculpture, a muted figure emerges from a fractured surface weathered, worn. The grey-toned face appears to have been pressed into the concrete itself, like a memory hardened by time. Surrounding it, raw textures and white space create a sharp boundary between erasure and existence. This work continues Sadaf Ahmadi’s exploration of silenced identities and endurance through material. Here, the face is both witness and artefact a quiet protest preserved in stone.

SADAF AHMADI was born in 1985. She is a multidisciplinary artist educated in Sooreh university in Tehran and Karnameh institute under the mentorship of Abbas Kiarostami. After 16 years of practice in different fields of cinema, she moved to Sweden and her first exhibition released in 2023 in France and in a short while she was invited to 5 more shows in the same year.
