As the artist behind this piece, I wanted to capture the raw, unfiltered essence of the human condition—its fragility, chaos, and resilience. The thick, impasto technique mirrors the complexity of emotion, with every layer of paint embodying a layer of experience or memory. The distorted figure represents the inner turbulence that often shapes our sense of self, a fragile identity contorted by external forces and internal struggles.
