Two words. Two directions. A quiet movement in color. One burns like a sunset the other spreads in green haze – a promise, or perhaps a lie. GOD HATES LABELS is a whisper in pigment, where the edges bleed but the letters stand still. It’s not about choosing, perhaps not even about understanding. It’s about sensing what pulls – what holds us in place. There is no map here, only a compass that points inward. Maybe both are just different ways of getting beautifully lost. ----- In GOD HATES LABELS, we stand directly before a choice – but with no clear direction. The words LEFT & RIGHT or BOTTOM & TOP, placed at the center of each canvas, carry a double meaning – not only as spatial directions, but as symbols of choice, ideology, and human polarization. The glowing orange breathes heat, warning, perhaps even loss, while the green evokes nature, calmness and certainty. Both words are framed – literally – in sharp contours and the soft diffusion of color, in contrast to the hard stenciled letters, suggests something repressed: feelings, values, or perhaps fragile convictions. It is a mirror of our times – where choosing left or right becomes a matter of identity rather than ideas.

This work is currently exhibited in Stockholm at Hotel Anglais by Stureplan.

Sweden

Based in Berlin & Sweden, I create in the space between interaction, contradiction, and distraction—where human connections clash, merge, and unravel. My work is a raw mix of tape, polaroids, and punchy words, capturing the beauty of imperfection. I have been working with images for 25 years. No art school no rules just making art from my gutfeeling.
