This painting is part of a Triptych and can be purchased seperately or together with "Always Blooming" and "More to Me". Kintsugi is an ancient japanese tradition that values things that are "broken" by putting the pieces back together and highlighting the broken edges with gold. Their supposed flaws then get transformed into new beauty and their journey as well as healed state get the honour they deserve. This beautiful tradition inspired me to look at our life journeys and honor the hardships and difficulties we all encounter and highlight their beauty in the same way. By adding gold to the stories my new paintings are telling, I want you to reflect back on where you came from and what you have gone through. I want you to be proud of the transformation you have made, of the lessons you learned and the strength you gained.
