Artist Arena extends exhibition at Nordiska Kompaniet Stockholm
After two very popular exhibitions visited by tens of thousands at Nordiska Kompaniet Stockholm with 6 member artists, Artist Arena are excited to extend the exhibition space at NK Nedre Plan.
Artist Arena presents an “Autumn Exhibition” featuring artists Jasmine Smiljanic (Bijouxduvah), Johannes Hagemann and Nathalie Palmaer. The exhibition runs from August 24th to September 24th at Nordiska Kompaniet Stockholm.
Artist Arena is an artist platform, created by artists for artists, with the goal of making artists and their art more accessible to a wider audience.
In an “Autumn Exhibition,” we present a curated exhibition consisting of three selected artists. These are Jasmine Smiljanic (Bijouxduvah), Johannes Hagemann, and Nathalie Palmaer (Palmaer Art).
Jasmine Smiljanic, known as Bijouxduvah, is a self-taught artist and interior stylist from Gothenburg. She has strong influences from the Mediterranean and the USA, where she lived for many years.
Active as an artist since 2017, Jasmine’s paintings are based on life events, encounters with people, and various situations that weave together into a story. Her spontaneous, meditative process results in works filled with layers of color and texture. Jasmine’s abstract and figurative style gives each piece a unique combination of form and feeling.

Artist Johannes Hagemann originally hails from Germany and has lived in Sweden since 2009. Johannes works in the Fluid Art technique. In this technique, liquid paint mixtures are poured directly onto the canvas and then distributed by tilting or spinning the canvas or by swiping the paint.
Johannes is highly fascinated by modern physics, which tries to explain how the world works. For a large part of his paintings, he seeks inspiration in physical phenomena that he attempts to visualize, such as quantum phenomena or events in a star.

Nathalie Palmaer (Palmaer Art) is a self-taught semi-abstract artist from Stockholm. She is based in Vasastan in Stockholm. The focus of her artistry lies in creating harmony and joy using colors and texture. She often paints semi-abstract landscapes, many times with elements of animals and human figures.
Her goal is to create paintings that convey calmness and joy, allowing viewers to interpret the painting and dream away. She also draws inspiration from our beautiful nature as well as the masters of impressionism.
