The Beach at Eggum, north coast of Vestvågøy, Lofoten. The white sand between the shore and the coral reefs further out gives the ocean around the island a unique colour, even on an absurdly grey and rainy day. And for a painter used to the Baltic sea it is also interesting to see how one Ned to completely rethink the dark blue tones when painting the light ok this coast. Olja på linneduk.
