About
I am a figurative painter working with acrylic on canvas. Painting is my way of giving visual form to thoughts and emotions, creating space for reflection through images.
Through my work, I hope to offer viewers a moment to pause and reconnect with themselves. I want my paintings to leave room for personal interpretation, allowing each person to find their own connection to what they see.

Inspiration
My inspiration comes from the experiences that shape us, both beautiful and difficult. I see these experiences as interconnected, each contributing to how we understand ourselves and our place in the world.
I am especially drawn to the relationship between vulnerability and inner strength: how we live with uncertainty, discover resilience and gradually learn to trust our own path. These questions are the starting point for my paintings.
I work with acrylic paint on canvas, using photographs as visual references. Collage is an important part of my preparatory work, helping me explore compositions and choose a colour palette before I begin painting.
I rarely begin with a drawn sketch. Instead, I use collages to bring together an idea, explore the composition and establish a colour palette. These give me a starting point, while leaving room for the painting to develop as I work.
Painting feels like a process of discovery, as though the image is already there and I am gradually finding it. I continue painting and making adjustments until I reach a moment of recognition: “Yes, here it is.” I know a work is finished when it holds what I have been searching for and I feel that further changes would add nothing.
