About
Cissi Trepka-Bloch is an artist living in northern Sweden, in the town of Skellefteå. She has always had a profound connection to colors and forms, viewing them as essential elements of her identity.
With a family background rich in artistic talent, she values her artistic heritage and sees it as a guiding force in her creative journey. Initially forging a successful career as a hairdresser, the artist transitioned to a more analytical realm by studying system science and spending the last decade working in IT.
However, after experiencing burnout, she rediscovered her creative passion when she began experimenting with acrylic painting. This artistic pursuit felt like a homecoming, rekindling an essential part of herself that had long been dormant. Through painting, the artist finds a powerful means of expression, conveying feelings and stories that transcend the need for words.
Stillness
Inspiration
The artist finds profound solace and clarity in the painting process, a sanctuary where emotions intertwine seamlessly with colors, unfettered by the stresses and pressures of the outside world. In this intimate space, creativity flows freely, allowing the artist to immerse deeply in the interplay of hue and feeling. Each brushstroke becomes a manifestation of lived experiences, drawing upon a rich tapestry of memories that evoke powerful emotions.
The artist's relationship with the natural world, particularly the enchanting forest, plays a pivotal role in this creative journey. Amidst the towering trees and the dappled light filtering through the leaves, the forest presents a breathtaking palette — from the radiant bursts of color that herald the changing seasons to the subtle, muted tones that whisper of tranquility.
It is within this serene environment that the artist truly finds peace. The stillness of the woods encourages moments of reflection, where breathing slows, and the mind quiets in response to the gentle rustle of leaves and the soft caress of the wind. In these sacred moments, the artist connects deeply with the essence of nature, allowing it to inspire and guide the creative process.
