M. Leonard Hilli

Marcus Hilli is an emerging artist currently pursuing his studies at Kyrkerud Folk High School, focusing on Painting and Graphics for the academic year 2024-25. He plans to continue his artistic journey with an immersive project year at the same institution in 2025-2026.

Hailing from Norrköping, Marcus has found a new home at the school located in Årjäng, Värmland. His journey into the realm of creativity has always been present in his everyday life, but it is in his adult years that he has truly engaged with the medium of art. It is through this transformative experience that Marcus has discovered the profound ability to express himself in both three-dimensional and two-dimensional forms.

His artistic language is characterized by the use of intricate patterns, and he often challenges conventional norms regarding artistic expression. Marcus embraces a distinctive approach that allows his intuition to guide his creative process, resulting in works that are both innovative and deeply personal.
