About
I'm a Swedish photographer, based in Stockholm, Sweden and Palma, Mallorca.
For the past 20-years, I've been working under the concept "Shooting for Harmony", trying to find calm and beauty in our everyday surroundings. In these crazy times, art should be a soothing escape.
A successful piece of art should not only bring harmony but also be thought provoking. I love it when my photos encourage fun discussions with new interpretations. Maybe everything is not exactly what it seems to be?
All photos printed in limited editions of 20.

Inspiration
Anything in everyday life can be turned into a piece of art. Through the macro lens, very close-up, daily objects may look quite different than directly to the normal eye. Most of my work is best displayed in a large format. For instance a simple spoon, in extreme close up with a large part out of focus, can cover a whole kitchen wall looking both mysterious and beautiful. Eggs, vegetables and kitchen tools are my main subjects. Often with interesting reflections.
Photography studies at Studio 23, Geneva, Switzerland. Thereafter, I have mainly studied food photography. I founded "The Click", a photo work-study group in Geneva where we concentrated on various aspects of nature, street and still life photography.
In November 2022, I published a photo book on how to plate food, Vacker Mat På Fat (available in most Swedish bookstores), which has won 2 international awards for its design and presentation, and earned the titel "Best in the World 2023".
I have just concluded 2 exhibitions; "Art summer at Rånäs Castle 2024" and in September, 2024, an exhibit at Danderyds Konsthall, Mörby Centrum.
Next project is an exhibition in Palma, Mallorca.
Marco photography with little to none digital editing. I want the photo to be shot as I want it to be displayed. Of course, each photo is developed by removing dust and slightly increasing contrast, but for the main part that is it.
