Johannes Hagemann is deeply fascinated by modern physics and its attempts to explain how the world works. For many of his paintings, he draws inspiration from physical phenomena that he tries to visualize, such as quantum events or occurrences within a star.

We want to ensure the highest quality of images to present to your Portfolio-visitors. Therefore, we have put together an easy guide for how to successfully upload your artwork images.
Do
- Start by cropping the image so it is only the artwork showing in the image. No background or borders.
- Increase exposure. In a general sense, it is often a good idea to bring up exposure a bit. A brighter image attracts more and allows for the viewer to better see your artwork.
- Fine tune by slightly adjusting contrast, structure and saturation. When you find the right balance and have enhanced your image in a suiting way, you are ready to upload it.
Don't
- Take a picture from the side in bad lightning.
- Upload the picture without first cropping it.
- Upload the picture without first fine-tuning it with contrast, structure and saturation.

After two very popular exhibitions visited by tens of thousands at Nordiska Kompaniet Stockholm with 6 member artists, Artist Arena are excited to extend the exhibition space at NK Nedre Plan. Artist Arena presents an “Autumn Exhibition” featuring artists Jasmine Smiljanic (Bijouxduvah), Johannes Hagemann and Nathalie Palmaer. The exhibition runs from August 24th to September 24th at Nordiska Kompaniet Stockholm.
Artist Arena is proud to announce its participation in the Affordable Art Fair Stockholm 2024, featuring outstanding works from eight prominent artists. This prestigious event for contemporary art lovers will showcase the unique talents of artists represented by Artist Arena.

You apply by clicking “Apply” in the right-hand menu or in the bottom menu section. After which you follow the 4 easy steps to submit your artist application with text information and images.
We generally review all incoming applications within 1-3 business days. If approved, your Portfolio will be visible right away!
Yes. Artist Arena is a member’s platform by and for artists. We offer memberships in 3 different categories; 3, 6 or 12 months. These cost €65 (or €23 per month), €99 (or €18 per month) or €180 (or €16 per month). The well-filled packages all provide access to a personal digital Portfolio (which you have access to update as you please), our unique Buddy Program, access to our E-Books, Webinars and availability to receive client inquiries. In addition, our 6 and 12 months memberships also enable access to our Coaching Sessions and our Artist Arena Market, where member artists can sell their art directly through Artist Arena.
