About
For me, painting is a meditative process – each brushstroke becomes a way to create presence and stillness. After returning to a lifelong passion in 2024, painting has grown into a central part of my expression, with creativity constantly seeking new forms.
I move between realism and abstraction, drawing my main inspiration from animals and nature. The silence of the forest, the rhythm of the sea, and the presence of wildlife recur as themes and atmospheres in my work. Through color and form, I aim to convey the same sense of calm and harmony that nature provides.
My paintings invite the viewer into a moment of stillness – a visual pause where inner peace and beauty can unfold.

Inspiration
The primary source of my inspiration is the natural world: the silence of the forest, the serene presence of still lakes, the majesty of animals, and the delicate beauty of flowers. These elements provide me with both peace and creative energy, and I seek to capture their essence through my art.
I am a self-taught artist.
I am exhibiting at Galleri Plume in Viken from August 21 to August 31.
