About
I am a curious and driven 65+ from the northern part of Sweden but have since I was a child moved around Sweden because of my parenters' work. When I was young, my fiancé's parents were artists and in that family there were many artists who visited and I was given the opportunity to attend to many exhibitions. I fell completely in love with this world, as I was very creative as a child and have painted ever since. I have three beloved children and one grandchild and i live in an old church in a small village called Vallsta, where in spend a lot of my time painting, being creative and spending time with family and friends. I am a very positive, energetic and happy person who loves new challenges and adventures. Like when in took a flight certificate as a 19 year old, dive certificate as a 45 year old or when in bought a boat before took a boat certificate. What I love about painting abstract is the unexpected, to release control and just painting what comes from within myself. For me, age is just a number, and I intend to live fully while in live. A life full of creativity, adventure and love.

Inspiration
My paintings are inspired by my feelings, my inner child, nature and water. I am fascinated by light, shape and the unexpected, and that I can see my own thoughts and feelings in each painting when it's done.
Self -taught artist
Exhibition together with my daughter Sara Evy Andersson in Stockholm at Artist Arena, Upplandsgatan 48.
Exhibition 28/3-7/4 & Vernissage 28/3.
I use different types of colors such as acrylic, ink, spray paint, texture paste and powder. I also use natural materials such as stones, sand, dried leaves, old wasp nest etc. The implements I use vary from painting to painting, everything from hands to palette knife.
The best thing about my art form is the unexpected, to release control and see what it will be. I paint in many layers and let the paintings dry in between. When I starts to feel done, I highlight motifs and details I want to come out more clearly.
