About
My name is Jenny Eneroth, I'm 53 years old and an active artist in the Swedish city called Växjö. I’ve been painting since i was a child and have been an active artist since my 20s. I’m a person who loves to try new materials and grow and transform my artistic process with a playful and curious mindset. Though painting will always be closest to my heart.

Inspiration
I'm fascinated by all houses, their walls and facades, which bear so much trace of life, memories and voices. Everything that's hidden behind the beautiful surface.
In my works there lies a story about the passage of time. The small, which becomes bigger. About the choices who form it, and the memories it leaves behind. Through my art I want to explore the invisible, the things that lay there - behind the surface. Behind the things that seem obvious.
The house becomes a symbol, a scene where the past and now meet. I try to work intuitively. I want the coloured layers to build a sort of room. I search for the innermost part of it, where every surface gets to carry its own story. The story that we so gladly hide, yet still always makes itself known. Usually, and eventually.
