About

My name is Jessica Nieberle and I am a 26 year old artist from Germany, currently based in Nässjö (Jönköpings län). Art has always been the centrum of my life just expressed in different forms. For a couple of years has it been painting, followed by drawing and photography. In January will it be 3 years since I moved to Sweden and as for this year have I decided to expose my work and share it with others. I guess just like most artist, can it be challenging to tell something about myself, as I tend to use brush and colour for that. In general, do I find it wonderful to look through the eyes of an artist when looking at the work. Sharing this glimpse of ones perspective to life and for where we are standing within ourselves at the moment of creating.

Healing heart

Inspiration

My source of inspiration seems to be the deep connection to everything that is. Always and unconditional flowing energy. The irony between realism and surrealism. Experiences that have moved me, most often the beauty of nature. I paint an image my heart felt and say, this is what it was like for me. Like underlining and digesting the expression life left on me.
At the moment has the sky been an inspiration for my colour palette. Soft and strong pastel dynamics which influence the pieces I am working on now. In my previous paintings were bright and loud colours moved by nature and its diversity.

I am a self taught artist.

three pieces will be showcased at ROME INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR 12th edition, form the 6th-12th December.

I mainly work with oil colours and therefore enjoy painting in thin layers or underpainting. Not often but sometimes do I use acrylic paint for rough composition. In my drawings I like to mix charcoal and pencil.

I have found that I have 3 different types of processes. One where I do many little sketches to gather ideas in different forms. These are often built in over time and various ways or even painted spontaneously. Two is where I plan/study an idea and have it carefully grow (photographing a subject, colour studies, ect.). And third is when I start a piece directly and its pieces are coming together as I go along.
