I am a former Creative Director, Art Director and Graphic Designer, today focusing on the world of wine as a trained Sommelier, Wine Journalist and Artist. Different creative areas have come together in my art and the concept Terroir.
With my art, I aim to tell wine stories of origin in yet another way. My paintings portray sense of place, soils and terroir. Each piece comes with a backgrond story – for education and inspiration. They are interior design objects linked to regions, soils, vineyards and more.

Inspiration
The world of wine is a constant inspiration. It's not just about the final product, rather the whole chain. From old vineyards that are treasured, manual work and inherited knowledge to the artisanal production and respect for nature.
A truly good quality wine portrays its background. It comes with different dimensions and traits of place and origin. This type of winemaking has a hands off approach. Good grapes speak for themselves. Such a wine can give wonderful experiences to remember. My art is another way to percieve place and origin.

Acrylic, paper and mixed media on canvas or plywood. I mainly use acrylic, but sometimes add thin paper, rafia, hemp etc. The paintings are foremost inspirational interior design objects.
With inspiration form the world of wine, I create art that is linked to a specific terroir. Each work aims at telling something, through the painting itself but also through a written wine story, attached to the painting. Information, education and inspiration combined in a lasting experience through art.
