About
I am a Swedish artist with an international background – born in Ukraine and now based in Sweden. I primarily work in oil and combine elements of realism, symbolism, expressionism, and semi-abstraction. My art is often inspired by nature, Nordic calm, childhood memories, and archetypal imagery. I have exhibited internationally, including at Art Expo New York, ArtFire Paris, and the Target Prize in Madrid. My works are characterized by a nuanced color palette, emotional depth, and a poetic atmosphere.

Inspiration
My inspiration comes from nature, the world of birds, childhood memories, and the quiet of the Nordic landscape. I am also fascinated by symbolism, archetypes, and the language of the subconscious, which are often reflected in my work.
I am a self-taught artist, with further education from Basis Art School in Stockholm and classical studies in Moscow. My artistic journey began in childhood and has evolved through both formal training and personal exploration.
After participating in major international exhibitions such as Art Expo New York, Target Prize in Madrid, and Art Fire Paris (currently postponed), I am now looking forward to new opportunities this autumn. During the summer, I remain open to exhibitions after the holiday season, as audiences return to the cities. I am also seeking collaboration with the Swedish Artists' Association and similar platforms for group exhibitions during the winter season.
I primarily work with oil on canvas, using high-quality traditional materials. Some of my paintings are built up in multiple layers, while others follow a lighter and more intuitive approach. I vary my brushwork — from soft transitions to more expressive movements — depending on the subject and emotional tone. Color, nuance, and light play are central elements in my artistic expression.
My painting process often begins with a feeling or an image that appears in my mind, rather than a fixed plan. Sometimes I make simple sketches, but I usually let the painting evolve directly on the canvas. I work gradually and in silence, often pausing to observe, reflect, and let the image guide me. I may return to a painting after a break, seeing it with fresh eyes before continuing. The process is both intuitive and reflective – a quiet dialogue between me and the work.
