Nicole Morander, born in 2001, creates bright and whimsical acrylic paintings with a sense of warmth, nostalgia and familiarity. Her work has a personal touch, with the motifs often reflecting the people and places from her own life, while also inviting the audience to explore their own memories. Each piece is carefully painted in a layering process, resulting in interesting contrasts and expressive colors.

Inspiration

Nicole gathers most of her inspiration from her own life, particularly from places with a personal story or significance. Additionally, Nicole is inspired by colors, often playing with vivid colors in settings where they might typically be absent.
