I am based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Despite short art courses and classes, I consider myself self-taught. Painting has always been a part of my life. In recent years, I have moved away from oil painting to watercolor and ink. The most important thing for me is to create an image that is not only pleasant to look at but hopefully also evokes a feeling. That feeling should belong to the viewer. To be free to see and feel anything when looking at the painting is why I don't want to give clues or explanations about what the paintings are supposed to depict. There is no right or wrong.

Inspiration
Inspiration is often drawn from nature but also from painting as much as possible. What appeals to me about working with ink is the speed. The speed and the fact that it is not just black, but a very versatile medium.
