About

I’m a visual artist based in Sweden, dedicated to creating paintings that reflect timeless human values. In an era driven by trends and distractions, I choose to slow down and paint what truly matters — virtues like friendship, honesty, and simplicity. My art is not an escape from reality, but a way of engaging more deeply with it.
Each piece is a visual meditation, inviting the viewer to reconnect with their inner world and the shared truths of our humanity.
I don’t follow what’s fashionable — I follow what’s essential. My brushwork is my voice, and through it, I aim to spark emotional resonance and thoughtful reflection.

Inspiration

My inspiration comes from the virtues we are slowly losing in modern life: loyalty, joy, wisdom, mutual aid, and contentment. I draw from ancient traditions, philosophical ideas, and moments of sincere human connection.
I’m inspired by the quiet strength in simplicity and the raw beauty of being present.
Rather than chase novelty, I look to what has been forgotten — the stories, values, and inner clarity that once guided us.
For me, art is not just an aesthetic experience but a reminder of who we were — and who we still can become.

I began my artistic journey at a local art school during my secondary education in Ukraine. Later, I completed a four-year arts and crafts education at an artistic vocational high school in Ukraine, which can be compared to a Swedish arts and culture education or vocational college with a focus on traditional crafts and visual arts.

Before moving to Sweden, I took part in several local group exhibitions in Ukraine. These experiences helped me grow as an artist, even though I wasn’t pursuing art professionally at the time.
After a long creative pause, I’ve recently returned to art with a new sense of purpose and started building my professional path as an artist here in Sweden.
In April 2025, I participated in my first exhibition in Gothenburg (April 12–17), which marked an important step in sharing my work with a wider audience.
While I don’t have a detailed schedule of upcoming shows, I’m currently focused on creating a new body of work that reflects the timeless values I aim to explore through my art.

I primarily work with acrylic on canvas, often combining detailed brushwork with abstract elements. My approach blends structure and spontaneity — I allow the piece to evolve intuitively while remaining anchored in symbolic intent.
I favor earthy tones, layered textures, and organic forms, creating a tactile and emotional depth that invites introspection.
At times, I incorporate cartographic references or calligraphic lines to evoke memory, place, and movement.
Each painting is a dialogue between control and surrender — a way to explore the harmony between internal clarity and expressive freedom.

My painting process is quite intuitive. I usually start without a strict plan — just an idea or a feeling I want to express. I begin painting and let the work develop step by step.
Sometimes I change direction along the way, add new elements, or paint over parts until it feels right.
I know the piece is finished when I look at it and feel that nothing else needs to be added — it just clicks.
