About
Stefania has always been a creator, but for a long time, her art was a well-kept secret. Now, she has returned to her childhood dream. Today, you’ll find her exactly where she’s meant to be: in her Stockholm art studio, surrounded by paint, big ideas, and a lot of energy.
If you walk into Stefania’s studio, don't expect a quiet, empty room. Music is always playing, and she likes to keep things moving, usually with several projects going at the same time. It’s a bit of a creative whirlwind, but that “vibrant chaos” is exactly what gives her work its life.
For Stefania, art isn't about overthinking; it’s about translating the stuff inside into something you can actually see and touch. As she puts it:
“Art is the bridge between feeling and form, a place where color, texture, and imagination come together to tell stories words cannot.”

Inspiration
Beneath the visible energy she has, Stefania’s work is deeply rooted in contrast. She is often seen as confident and full of joy, yet her art reveals a more private, layered inner world one that holds both light and shadow. It is within this space that she explores the balance between happiness and quiet sorrow from life events, calm and restlessness, harmony and the longing for something more.
Painting becomes a kind of a resting space, or a safe space, where emotions can exist without needing to be explained or defined. A piece may carry something deeply personal for her, while the viewer experiences it in an entirely different way. That openness is essential and each artwork is not a fixed story, but an invitation to interpretation.
Through her work, Stefania captures the complexity of being human: the visible and the hidden, the strength and the softness, the known and the unspoken.
Right now I am working on a series of paintings that explors balance between feminine energy, nature, and the emotional shifts that come when life doesn’t unfold as expected. The works move between softness and strength, and hopefully will give a feeling of harmony for the viewer.
During a long period when life felt heavy I worked with large blocks of color and patterns. Grounded and structured art that expressed that weight. But lately, a shift has taken place. My focus has moved toward flow and lightness, where forms feel more airy and colors begin to blend into one another, creating a softer, more fluid expression.
I work mostly with Asrylic, oil, and embroidery on linen/other fabric.
Each piece often begins with a feeling, translated into a loose sketch that sets the direction. From there, I choose a base color and the rest of the palette evolves naturally, guided by emotion rather than rules. My work often moves within earthy tones, creating a grounded yet expressive atmosphere.
