About
Adam Ström, born in 1994, hails from Kungsbacka, located on Sweden's picturesque west coast. Growing up in a creative family filled with artists and photographers, he was immersed in the world of art from a young age. Adam discovered his passion for painting and creation early on, a love that has only deepened over the years.
Today, Adam is primarily known for his sculptures, which can best be described as a vibrant blend of modern pop art. His artistic journey has been complemented by a substantial background and education in the automotive refinishing industry. Recently, he has embraced his long-held dream of pursuing a career in the arts. This transition, while significant, has been a natural progression, as the skill sets from both fields often intertwine in the intricate process of sculptural creation.
Currently, Adam collaborates with galleries in Göteborg, Stockholm, and Hamburg, showcasing his work internationally. He has successfully sold his art in approximately 15 countries, reflecting a growing appreciation for his unique artistic vision.

Inspiration
The artist draws the majority of their inspiration from a rich tapestry of personal interests and cherished memories from childhood. Where elements like Lego, astronauts, vibrant candies, and classic cars seamlessly intertwine to create a unique narrative. Each piece tells a story, evoking the wonder and imagination that permeated their early life, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences and memories.
Music serves as an essential backdrop, with the artist dedicating around ten hours each day to revel in its melodies and lyrics. This extensive engagement with music not only influences their artistic expression but also shapes their emotional landscape, infusing their work with a dynamic interplay of sounds and colors.
The interplay of these inspirations—the nostalgic echoes of childhood and the vibrant pulse of music—collaborates to create a resonating narrative in the artist's creations.. This multifaceted approach invites the audience to celebrate the intersections of imagination, memory, and art, urging us all to revisit the joys and dreams of our own childhoods.
I have an education in car painting where more than you might think has been relevant to my creation. Everything from thermosetting plastic training to spray technology and color theory.
Just finished an exhibition in Stockholm this year. Will have a smaller exhibition in Gothenburg later in May.
Will also do a single cover for a Swedish artist that will be released this spring.
In the summer there will be an exhibition at Marsstrand and hopefully an art event in Stockholm this summer in Martin Key's flagship store.
