About
Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, my formal college education in Electronics and Communications Engineering provided me the opportunity to work for international companies and travel the world. From a technical and project management standpoint, I have helped broadcast sporting events to fans all around the world. During my travels, I had the fortunate opportunity to experience not only the physical beauty of each country I have visited, but also the differing cultural practices. My current work is in the telecommunications field and I have discovered my love of abstract painting in 2020 during the pandemic. I now happily reside and paint in Stockholm, Sweden.
It is my worldly experiences, my love of painting and daily practice of meditation and yoga that has led me to my style of painting. With a canvas before me and a paint brush in hand, I trust the initial brush stroke and the shapes and colours that follow. The result is a painting made with an “internal vision” springing to life, years of worldly experience and a love for the process of creating art.

Inspiration
The inspiration for my body of work comes from a complex process of experiencing the world, processing my observations through daily quiet meditation and yoga and applying my vision on canvas one brush stroke at a time. My best works have come from trusting my intuition, applying a seemingly random brush-stroke to the canvas, and letting the result of that initial act lead me down the path of succeeding lines, shapes and colours. It’s a process requiring a deep love for the act of painting, quietness, endurance and skill.

It is my worldly experiences, my love of painting and daily practice of meditation and yoga that has led me to my style of painting. Abstract painting intuitively created with bright, happy colors that can be described as vibrant, energetic, and exuberant. The use of bold and vivid hues creates a sense of joy and positivity, while the lack of representational elements allows for a free-flowing and expressive artistic expression. This style often evokes feelings of optimism, playfulness, and a sense of uplifting emotion through its lively color palette and non-representational forms.
With a canvas before me and a paint brush in hand, I trust the initial brush stroke and the shapes and colours that follow. The result is a painting made with an “internal vision” springing to life, years of worldly experience and a love for the process of creating art.
I create art on instinct and energy, each brush stroke a burst of intuition, with previous strokes guiding the next. The final piece is a creation of a harmonious chaos of color and form. My process is dynamic, a dance between my hand and canvas, each stroke charged with mental and physical energy, reflections of my inner universe shaped by life, by global experiences. Each painting emerges organically, a vivid translation of thought and live experiences into abstract expression.
