About
My name is Lena Hagelberg, and I am an artist with roots in Skaraborg, Sweden. I live just outside Skövde, surrounded by the nature that serves as my greatest source of inspiration. In the forests, by the lakes, and among the meadows, I find both the peace and creativity that nourish my artistic work.
My love for drawing and painting has been with me since childhood. Over the years, I have developed my artistic expression through curiosity, experimentation, and a deep joy in the creative process.

Inspiration
For me, painting is about capturing and conveying a feeling – the special light filtering through the trees, the stillness of a lake, the wildlife of the forest, or the small details of nature that often go unnoticed.
I work primarily with acrylics, drawing inspiration from the natural world and the landscapes surrounding me. Forests, water, wildlife, flowers, and the Swedish countryside are recurring themes in my paintings. Through light, colour, and depth, I strive to create artworks that evoke a sense of presence, harmony, and tranquillity.
For me, nature is a place to find peace, reconnect, and regain energy. Through my paintings, I hope to capture a part of that feeling while reminding others of the beauty that surrounds us – in the simple, the everyday, and the fleeting moments of life.
