About

I am artist based in Stockholm with roots in Mexico. My art communicates through bold colors and expressive portraits often inspired by well-known figures from cinema, chosen not for their fame but for their emotional resonance and narrative weight.

Inspiration

What inspires me is those unguarded moments when subtle gestures and glances show up. Portraits allow me an exploration of the human side hidden beneath constructed characters-those fleeting moments when the masks slips and a single look reveals something raw, vulnerable, and deeply real.

Self thought Artist

I usually I arrange my own exhibitions. This week you can find me in Gamlastan, Stockholm at Galleria 67 from 10/4-16/10.

My painting are created through a combination of techniques, layering and blending approaches to build depth and emotion. While experimenting with different methods, I predominantly work with acrylics, drawn to their versatility, immediacy and ability to capture intensity and contrast.

My painting process starts with an image, song or lines on a script that resonates in my head provoking an emotion and then a reflection. Once the idea sticks in my head I consume information and research the persona, characters behind it in order to break down the message on those tiny moments. The are many things I consider before I start layering colors on a canvas. I like to sketch the idea and then decide the format(size) and the techniques I would use. Most of the time once I have started the process leads me to complete evolution of my first sketched idea.
