I am a self-taught artist from a small town in Serbia, currently living and working in Sweden. From an early age, I felt a deep connection to art and the creative process. I mainly work with acrylic paints and incorporate clay texture paste into my work to add depth and dimension. While my recent focus has been on landscapes and nature-inspired scenes, I am also exploring portrait painting and other subjects to expand my artistic expression. Through my art, I aim to create emotionally resonant pieces that reflect both inner peace and the subtle beauty of the everyday world.

Inspiration
My inspiration comes from many places — the quiet moments in nature, the changing light throughout the seasons, and the emotional connection I feel to my surroundings. Growing up in a small community shaped my sensitivity to beauty in simplicity. I also find inspiration in music, people, and the process of experimenting with different materials. Every painting is a journey and a story in itself, and I strive to make each one meaningful, both visually and emotionally.

• Continuously learning and expanding my skills in painting, with a strong desire to grow, exhibit my work, and connect with a broader artistic community.
At the moment, I am focused on developing a new body of work that explores emotional storytelling through landscapes and textured surfaces. I plan to experiment more with portraiture and mixed media in the coming months. My goal is to participate in local art fairs and group exhibitions in Sweden, as well as build a strong online presence to share my work with a wider audience. Joining Artista Rena is an important step toward connecting with other artists and art collectors.
I primarily work with acrylic paint on canvas, often incorporating clay texture paste to create a rich, tactile surface. This technique allows me to bring more depth and movement to my compositions. I enjoy experimenting with different tools such as palette knives, brushes, and sponges to achieve varied effects. While nature and landscapes have been my main focus, I am also exploring new techniques suitable for portrait work and abstract expression.
My painting process usually begins with a visual or emotional idea — something that inspires me, like a landscape, a memory, or a quiet moment from everyday life. Sometimes I start with a light sketch to map out the composition. I mostly work with acrylic paints, building up layers of color to create mood, depth, and atmosphere. In certain works, I use clay texture paste to add a tactile quality, depending on the subject and the feeling I want to express. I like to work intuitively and let the painting evolve naturally, guided by the emotion behind it.
