My name is Lina and I am a Swedish contemporary artist whose work mixes raw emotions and soft movements. Creativity has always been my language and I love to surround myself with contrasts. I am inspired by everything around me, both what we can visually see, but also by the energies our surrounding carries. These influences have shaped my artistic vision: I want to capture the feeling, movements and the energies.
Inspiration
My art has long been a mixed bag. I have tested, changed tracks, gone by feeling and sometimes thrown myself straight out without really knowing where I would end up. Somewhere along the way, something has started to fall into place.
Right now it feels like I have found a little home in my artistry. A common thread and something that actually feels like me.
Today I am exploring what nature's emotions and movements could look like if they had their own color language. Not really how nature looks, but how it feels, both to the viewer and in itself. If it could speak, but in color, movements and moods instead of something we can immediately understand.
I am trying to let go of the representation more and more.
It is less about painting something recognizable, and more about capturing a feeling before it has time to become logical.
A wind that pulls through the body. A calm that almost feels heavy. A chaos that still has some strange balance...

I mostly work with acrylics and texture in multiple layers.
My work explores the tension between softness and strength, vulnerability and power, minimalism and detail.
For me, painting is not just about paint on canvas, it is about giving form to emotions, creating spaces for reflection and feeling the movement of colors. I use texture, layering and movement to create depth and to make my paintings come to life.
Art is not about perfection. It is about living in the present, feeling and thinking about brushstrokes, about shades that flow together and about the contrasts that my works provide.
My abstract art is born from intuition, emotion and the desire to tell stories without words. I work with intersecting brushstrokes, layered textures and raw contrasts to create paintings that are as imperfect as they are powerful. Each canvas becomes a landscape of emotion, a meeting between vulnerability and strength, chaos and harmony, silence and expression. I am inspired by nature in all its forms, which allows each work to hold both softness and edge.
For me, abstraction is about freedom. The freedom to move beyond rules and proportions, to let emotions lead the way and to create something that speaks directly to the soul.
In abstraction there is room for the unexpected, for honesty and for the beauty of imperfection.
