About
Painting, for me, is a journey more than anything else. It’s something I grow through, return to, and discover new parts of myself in every time I begin a new piece.
I rarely know exactly where a painting will take me when I start. Instead, I follow a feeling — letting colors, textures, and intuition guide me along the way. Each layer becomes part of that journey, sometimes leading to something calm and quiet, other times something more raw and unexpected.
I’m inspired by moments, moods, and nature — especially the kind of beauty that isn’t always obvious at first glance. Through painting, I try to explore those feelings and give them a place to exist.
For me, it’s not just about the final result, but everything that happens in between. The uncertainty, the flow, the small decisions — it’s all part of the process.
And maybe that’s what I want to share most: not just a finished piece, but a glimpse of the journey behind it.

Inspiration
I find inspiration in many different places — in history, culture, nature, and fantasy.
I’m drawn to stories from the past, to the depth and atmosphere that history carries, and how it still echoes into the present. Different cultures also inspire me, especially through their colors, symbols, and ways of expressing emotion and identity.
Nature is another constant source of inspiration. The changing light, textures, and quiet moments all hold something meaningful to me — something I try to translate into my paintings.
At the same time, I’m inspired by fantasy and imagination. The freedom to create something beyond reality, to explore other worlds and feelings, gives my work another dimension.
All of these influences come together in my art, shaping a visual language that is both personal and ever-changing.
I don’t have a formal education in art. I began painting about four years ago, during a time when I was at home on sick leave. What started as a way to pass time slowly became something much more meaningful.
I am mostly self-taught, learning through experimentation, practice, and countless hours of watching tutorials and videos. Over time, painting became not only something I learned, but something I grew into.
My journey hasn’t followed a traditional path, but it has shaped the way I create — in a way that feels personal, intuitive, and honest.
My process usually begins with acrylic paint, where I build the foundation of the piece through color, composition, and structure. I like the freedom and speed that acrylics give me in the early stages.
I then finish my paintings with oil paint, adding depth, softness, and richness. This final layer allows me to slow down, refine details, and bring a different kind of life and atmosphere into the work.
Combining these two techniques gives me both spontaneity and control — something that feels true to the way I create.
My painting process is intuitive and constantly evolving. I usually begin without a fixed plan, guided more by a feeling than a clear idea of the final result.
I start by building up the surface with acrylics — creating movement, structure, and a base to work from. From there, I respond to what’s happening on the canvas, allowing the painting to develop naturally over time.
As the piece grows, I slow down and begin to refine it with oil paint. This is where I focus on depth, atmosphere, and the small details that bring everything together.
There is always a balance between control and letting go. Some parts are intentional, while others are discovered along the way — and that sense of discovery is an important part of my work.
