About
Annika Andersson, known professionally as Annikaprana, is a creative entrepeneur. She grew up and lived in Båstad in the south of Sweden, a small coastal town that is known for tennis, sailing and a fun nightlife. For many years she owned and operated a successful hair salon, named Prana, where hairdressing was her way of expressing color and form.
Today she lives in Stockholm and uses her skills to create art. Annika has always been painting, but just recently decided to follow her passion and become a professional artist. Since spring 2025 she's been developing her skills through the Mastery Program at the international recognized Milan Art Institute.
Annikas artwork is imaginative and she often includes subject matters as animals, flowers and orbs that are placed in dreamlike landscapes and cosmos-like realms. The soulful expression is accomplished by a process where each composition originates from intuitively built abstract layers using mixed-media techniques, allowing the work to unfold organically. Her motives are defined in acrylic and brought to completion with oil paint, achieving depth, luminosity, and richly saturated color.
Finding the Light
Inspiration
Creating art is my unique way of expressing myself in an imaginative and soulful style where I paint objects such as animals, flowers and orbs in dreamy landscapes or cosmos-like worlds.
I want my art to inspire people to see the joy and beauty of life and to feel empowered by the awareness that in life's contrasts there is always light.”
