Inspiration
My love for textile creativity developed as I played with scraps from my mother's sewing projects. It began with hand made creations for my Barbie dolls and evolved into knitting ties, vests, and revamping second-hand clothes during my teenage years.
My family has always been my source of inspiration. Watching my mother and grandmother transform simple materials into beautiful, functional items made me really appreciate textile crafts.
Professionally, I worked with digital marketing and strategy for over 20 years, but as I started my own business and began freelancing a few years ago, the dream of combining creative digital work with creative hands on projects grew stronger.
A few months later, Tufterian, a combined office and textile art studio was born and now I tuft my own art pieces, tuft on commission and hold weekly tufting classes.
