About

I’ve discovered that I need to feel a sense of love for, or at least curiosity about, my subject in order to stay motivated to keep painting it. If I don’t feel that connection, I know I’m on the wrong track and need to adjust the direction of the painting.

In my day-to-day work, I’m a designer and web developer, with years of experience and a keen eye for composition and colour theory. My painting technique evolves with each piece, as my paintings accompany me on a journey that often unfolds over a long period of time.
