About
I am an abstract and semi-abstract painter based in Skåne, Sweden. My practice centers on acrylic and mixed media, exploring the interplay of light and darkness, presence and movement. I build textured compositions in layers, combining paint with pencils and crayons, and occasionally adding small touches of oil in the final stages to enhance depth and surface richness.
My process is guided by emotion and by the dialogue that emerges during creation. Each piece grows organically, shifting between stillness and flow. Through my art, I aim to evoke reflection and curiosity, offering the viewer a moment of presence and a space for personal interpretation.

Inspiration
I am inspired by contrasts—light and shadow, calm and intensity, clarity and uncertainty—and how these opposites coexist in both nature and the inner world. Colour is a central source of inspiration for me: how hues shift, collide or quietly support one another, and how colour alone can carry emotion or suggest a mood before form even appears.
Many paintings begin in a felt atmosphere: the weight of silence, the tension before movement, or the fragile shift between hope and doubt. I am also drawn to the marks, textures and traces that appear in the making. Surfaces carry memory, and layering can reveal as much as it hides.
Often, the meaning of the painting becomes clear only afterward—sometimes connecting to earlier experiences, sometimes to something from my everyday world. This unfolding insight is a central part of what motivates me.

My technique is rooted in layered acrylic and mixed media. I begin with loose marks to establish energy and direction, then build structure using brushes, palette knives and drawing tools. Each layer interacts with the ones beneath, creating depth, tension and visible traces of the process.
I occasionally enrich the final surface with small touches of oil to bring subtle texture and nuance. Experimentation and contrast guide the development of each piece.
My process begins without a fixed plan. I move between adding and reducing, responding to shifts in form, colour and mood as they appear. The painting evolves through this dialogue, gradually becoming more defined.
I often understand the work’s meaning only when it is finished—an insight that sometimes echoes something from life, sometimes from the quiet moments of everyday experience.
