About
I am Åsa Fexby, born in 1964. I am 100% Swedish according to passport and such. But I have lived in Brazil, Russia, and the Czech Republic, so I have a lot of impressions from other people, traditions, colors and energies that blend with my Swedish mentalitet and surroundings.

Inspiration
To create and express oneself is to live. I spent my teenage years in Brazil, and carry the counry’s vibrant colors and energies in me. And blend it with my Swedish phyche somehow. Art is freedom. I want to play around and not make it too ”correct”. My art is inspirerad by nature, animals and playfulness.
I have been drawing, off and on, since my teenage years. For many years I painted abstract forms, now I prefer figurative works.
I have studied art for 2.5 years at a Swedish ”folkhögskola”, a level before University.
After my studies, I had several exhibitions, both separate and together with other artists. My latest exhibition was September 2024 in Norberg, Sweden.
