About
I am an artist with roots in Dalarna and a heart that beats for the world of rock. Working primarily in acrylic, I create portraits and symbolic works charged with attitude, vibrant color, and emotion. My art flirts with pop art, iconic personalities, and a touch of darkness—often focusing on female strength or legendary figures from the worlds of music, cinema, and art.
Surreal Icon
Inspiration
My inspiration comes from the worlds of music, cinema, and art—especially the legends who have shaped culture with their boldness and originality. I am fascinated by the energy, charisma, and stories behind these icons. Their attitude, vulnerability, and strength resonate with me, and I strive to capture that essence in my work.
Rock music, in particular, has always been a driving force in my creative process. The raw emotion and rebellious spirit of rock legends fuel my imagination and push me to explore themes of individuality, darkness, and resilience. I am also inspired by the visual language of pop art, which allows me to play with color, symbolism, and the idea of the “icon.”
Ultimately, I am drawn to subjects who challenge norms and leave a lasting impact—whether they are musicians, actors, or artists. Their stories motivate me to create art that not only portrays their likeness, but also celebrates their unique spirit.

I work exclusively in acrylics, exploring different backgrounds with bold blocks of color or, at times, elements that connect directly to the person portrayed.
The backgrounds are never just decorative; they are carefully chosen to either contrast with or highlight the personality and story of each icon.
My creative process begins with a deep dive into the stories and personalities of my subjects—legends from music, cinema, and art.
The backgrounds are just as important as the figures themselves: I often use bold color blocks or elements that connect to the icon’s world, creating a dynamic contrast or harmony with their personality.
Through this process, I strive to create works that are vibrant, emotive, and full of character.
