Inspiration
Most of my inspiration comes from the beauty of nature. Different shapes and textures and contrast of colours. Other inspiration stems from everyday life and the encounters that unfold within it. She takes inspiration from many skilled artists regardless of their social position in the art.
Karin has an extensive academic background with multiple medical degrees, complemented by a diploma in marketing. She has also gained substantial sales experience through her time in the pharmaceutical industry.
Her mother was an artist who inspired and taught me techniques and self-study.

She makes art from recycled materials, like the beach, wood, plastics, fabrics and paper discovered in nature. They combine the material into abstract art. Sometimes she paints the material.
The process starts with an idea and then selecting materials and, if necessary, colours.
As an abstract artist, she uses different materials and creates something raw, authentic, and open to interpretation. Her process is intuitive, spontaneous, playful, energetic, and dynamic.
