My name is Malin and I am based in Stockholm. I started to paint a few years ago as a form of theraphy. I often have an idea when I start a painting but let the strokes of the brushes and the emotions control the final result. When a painting is finished you get this feeling in your entire body and it´s such an incredibly powerful and cool feeling.

What captivates me with art is the freedom and that there are no frames and do or dont´s. Therefore I find it difficult to stick to a specific style. The style of my paintings is always built on the colors I choose to compose. Color makes me happy and I find daily inspiration based on considerations in everyday life. I mainly paint with acrylics but I am not afraid to experiment with different types of techniques and materials. I love creating colorful paintings where you can see how the colors play together and create a harmony at the same time.
