Marica Sandström Lindh

My name is Marica Sandström Lindh, a 51 years old self taught artist based in Luleå, Sweden.
I have worked with dance my whole life, both as a dancer, choreographer and dance teacher. I was longed for something new creative to do, and I started to paint in the beginning of 2021.

My artworks are painted with acrylic, often in several layers, and I like to mix the figurative with the abstract. It’s mainly women and dancers who are central in my paintings.
I don't want to limit myself so the journey of discovery may guide technique, color and motif!
