About
With 25 years of experience in graphic design, advertising, and visual communication, I have developed a deep understanding of visual expression. Over decades, I have worked with balance, colour, form, and composition – with the aim of creating images that capture attention, convey emotion, and remain with the viewer.
Photography has always been my driving force and my way of seeing the world. Through the camera, I have collected fragments of stories, structures, encounters, and contrasts within our surroundings. It is both a way of observing and a method of understanding and processing the visual noise of contemporary life.
In my artistic practice, these two worlds – the graphic and the photographic – merge.
I work with compositions built from my own photographs, where layers of reality meet and form new spatial constructs. These works move between the documentary and the abstract, where the familiar is recontextualised and given new meaning through its relationship to the whole. My background in graphic design gives me an intuitive sense of structure, rhythm, and visual balance, where every element is carefully considered. Colour and form are never accidental; they are deliberately composed to create both energy and stillness, curiosity and reflection.
My practice exists in the tension between recognition and the unexpected. The works carry traces of the precision of commercial visual language, while simultaneously opening up a more poetic and open-ended interpretation, where the narrative is never fully resolved.

Inspiration
I draw inspiration from within, from the streets, from nowhere and everywhere – from life itself. I do not have a specific artist I admire whose work resembles my own. Instead, I find value and inspiration in all forms of art. I have been collecting and buying art since my early twenties, and my appreciation spans a wide range of styles, expressions, and approaches.
