About
Indira Sundberg (b.1979) Her work explores themes of solitude, memory, and the passage of time through a muted and introspective visual language. Whether in abstract landscapes, figurative formats or quiet interiors, she’s drawn to stillness; those in-between spaces where presence and absence blur.
She often works with layered textures and restrained color palettes to evoke a sense of emotional residue, -something felt but not easily named. Her process is intuitive, guided by atmosphere and the tension between concealment and revelation.
"I’m interested in the quiet power of ambiguity: how a landscape can feel like a memory, how a face can become a mask, how light and shadow shape our emotional responses to space. Across mediums, I aim to create work that invites reflection rather than resolution."
