About

Born and raised in north of Sweden. I spent many days in the window of my relatives' glaziery, among paintings, frames, artists and art owners. I got my interest in art and even more in color and shape from my childhood with a mother who took me to every glass factory, art gallery, ceramic factory and shops with local skills that we could pass on the road between my hometown and our country's southern locations, during summers road trips.

I gained an enormous respect and admiration for the artists early on and it took me many years, I'm still not quite there, before I could even imagine that anyone be a so called artist. I prefer to speak in terms of creative enthusiast or creative layman.

Early on I had an eye for color and shape and a basic understanding of composition.
The desire was there but I was modest, insecure, everything I created was hidden or thrown away. That followed me into adulthood. Now I can create on my terms without thinking of fitting into a mold.
I am driven by playfulness, curiosity and desire.
I got to apply my creative need in my professional roles over the years, from designing spaces for specific purposes such as weddings and other themes to setting concepts and shaping studio environments.
I found my comfort zone in creating while working and my desire to continue in other forums and ways of expression grew with it. Here I get the chance to continue creating based on my motivations and become a better version of myself as a creator.

Inspiration

The way people express themselves, the beauty in the simple and the perfect in the small details. Both our cups as the ones that best inspire in already created art with the body as a tool, how those exceptionally talented individuals who manage to dress with that little extra, represent, to the wise clothing designers themselves choose to market their works.

Other artits and creators. Wow, we have som many talents around us!
When someone thinks of something I've never thought about, tests something I've never seen, handles a brush, a camera, a spray jar, fabric, glass or other tool and material in a way I myself am not capable of, can inspire immensely.

Right now my main focus is my It Collection.
An aud to our skin shells, admiration, beauty, body shapes and empowerment.
Head pieces are my female half body/bust. Made with plaster as ground material and mixed materials for structure and colour. Always with added pieces of either jewlery and/or gemstones.
Namned with the thought of each piece as beeing bold enough to stand by itself. An It girl is everything by herself, she is it.

Mixed. Acrylic, plaster, spray paint, clay, epoxy. Add ons: silver jewlery, gems stones, glas pieces, dried material from the woods.

To be honest, it differs. Sometimes I stay focused on nothing else for days and I can barley wait between the drying phases. Thats often when I have a clear vision, like the It Collection.
Most of the time I start something, might be interested for a day or two and then I loose interest when the vision does not show itself fast enough and I put the piece away. A couple of months, I pick up the piece again, take a new look at it and in the end it turns in to something completly different.
It is most defenetly a process that changes and goes through ups and downs.
I only create if I find it enjoyable. Its a vibe between me and whats form in front of me. If it does not match, I will not continue, I will start new with something else.
